BP 1-The OneThird That Make It

When converted to a percent one third is three percent. So at Georgia Gwinnett College with a student body count of roughly 11,500 and a maximum of 3% of those students will graduate then the largest amount of students that will graduate is 345. That means that there are over 11,000 students that attend who will not finish college. For a larger school like Kennesaw State University there is an even larger amount of people who don't graduate. With a student population of 35,600, 3% would be roughly 1,068 students who will go on to finish their education. Over 34,000 will not finish their education.

CARES Act offers billions to aid college students |
There are all kinds of people who go to college for all kinds of reasons. Most go to get a higher education to advance in a future career they are interested in. Others go because they want to try out the college experience. From freshman coming straight out of high school to adults with families there is a large assortment of people who attend college. But out all these people less than one third of them will actually complete college.

The idea of over 11,000 or 34,000 people not finishing college is surprising to hear. The question of why immediately pops into a persons head. But the answer is pretty simple as to why. As people say "life happens" and  most of the time we have very little control of the circumstances we find ourselves in that could prevent a person from completing their education. As stated above all kinds of people attend college. And every person who doesn't finish college likely has an important reason for not finishing. Starting a family, the loss of a loved one, work complications, financial problems, a loss of interest among many other reasons why a person wouldn't finish college.

Unlike high school, college is optional and a student can decide for themselves whether they want to stay or leave themselves, which a few students do. But when the unexpected happens some students have no choice but to leave. Life isn't a perfect straight line and there are many obstacles that people will run into and its these people who will not finish their college education not because they chose to but because they had no other choice.
